Adoption Update: Cody and I are finishing our classes the next two weeks. CRAZY, its gone by so fast. We did ask about the little girl we met. She was placed this week with a family. I am sad but so thankful to know that she is with a family. God is GOOD! Cody went to CPR training this morning and just called to tell me they want to start our homestudy TOMORROW. TOMORROW! The reality is, we could be placed with a child as soon as our homestudy is finished, even before we finish our classes. We dont know if that will happen...but its a possibility. im FREAKIN out here.

Machine Gun Preacher
Have you guys seen the previews for this movie? Takes my breath away! I cannot WAIT for it to come out...my heart aches for these children. The movie is based on a true story!

Oh what a good post! First, that movie looks good! I have not heard of it and at first I was wondering why you were sharing about an "R" movie. haha Our church has partnered with a missionary family in the Sudan and Seth will be going over there in January (if all goes as planned). The Sudan is an interesting place. Looking forward to seeing it now!

I hadn't heard of that movie, but it looks like it will be good. You know how often I see movies in the theatre, so here's to hoping it gets good reviews and makes it to Redbox sooner than later!
ReplyDeleteI would be a bit overwhelmed by so many exciting adoption milestones being met, too! I don't think anyone has ever felt completely prepared to be a parent and freaking out is very normal thing. But, I know that you and Cody know who to turn to for peace and direction, so I'm confident you will be ready when the time comes - whether sooner or later! Love you, friend!
