Lubbock Weather

The weather in Lubbock is all kinds of crazy! I just had to share with you guys a few random things about it.

In a matter of NINE days we went from this:

Major DUST STORM

To This:

snow and sleet.

Is that not the craziest thing?  And yes, Cody took that picture of the dust storm in our front yard.  I would definitely say it was on of the craziest things I have ever experienced in my life.  The city was pitch black with the street lights on at 5PM.  WEIRD and SCARY!  Snow is not anything Im really used to being from North Louisiana and all, but ESPECIALLY not in October.  But hey, I will definitely not complaining about that.  HOW FUN!!! I will need to start shopping for a new wardrobe as seeing my Louisiana sweaters and jackets are not warm enough for this weather.  I am in great need of a big WOOL COAT!

With the cold weather comes great opportunity for my husband to plan really fun surprise dates with our little chiminea in the backyard!! Love me some S'MORES!

Cody is headed to the Tech game tonight while I am at home on call! We have HIGH expectations after our big win against #3 Oklahoma last week! LETS GO TECH! WRECK EM'!!! My parents will be here in a few weeks for the Oklahoma State Game! We can't wait!
